Summary
The research seeks to elucidate about the regulations that establish what should be the working conditions of social workers in Brazil in order to ensure quality and ethics in the professional practice\ For the development of this study will be performed the analysis of regulations presented by the Federal Council of Social Work and Regional Council of Social Work and Brazilian academic articles that expose on this subject, understanding that the professional performance of social workers is permeated by the contradictions inherent to the capitalist system, thus the users of services are impacted, whereas such professionals are also\ salaried workers in the exploitation process.\ The professional performance of the social worker is ensured mainly by the Code of Ethics and Law 8,662/93 of Regulation of the Profession, considering that in its 7th article, the Code of Ethics establishes that they constitute rights of the/the social worker "have decent working conditions, whether in a public or private entity, in order to ensure the quality of professional practice". In addition to important CFESS/CRESS Resolutions that establish criteria for confidentiality and physical structures necessary to preserve and ensure effective action, such as what is resolved in Article 1 of Resolution 493/23 of 2006: "It is essential, therefore mandatory, for the realization and execution of any service to the user of the Social Service the existence of physical space, under the conditions that this Resolution establishes."The guarantee of decent working conditions for social workers and the defense carried out by institutions that support social workers in their fields of work, through regulations and supervision is essential for the professional exercise, the actions of social workers, leading to the emancipation of the working class.\ \
